- How much does it cost to move a mobile home in Florida?
- It depends on home size (single or double-wide), distance, site access at both ends, and permits. We give you a written quote after a quick call or visit, before any work starts.
- Can my older mobile home be moved?
- Homes built after June 1976 (HUD code) can usually be moved if they are structurally sound and built for the wind zone of the new county; some counties ask for an inspection first. Pre-1976 homes are rarely approved for a new setup. We look at the home and tell you before you spend money.
- Do you handle the transport permits?
- Yes. We pull the state DHSMV trip permit and coordinate the county install permit. You don't deal with the county; we do.
