Mobile home skirting: new installs, repairs, and storm damage
Skirting is the finish line of a proper setup: it protects your plumbing, keeps animals out, and most counties require it before final approval. Trinity installs vinyl skirting as part of your setup or as a standalone job, with the county affidavit handled.
What's included
- Vinyl skirting panels, vented to code, color-matched to your home.
- Insulated and faux-stone panel options for a finished look and a cooler crawl space.
- Access panel for plumbing and crawl-space entry.
- The skirting affidavit your county asks for at final inspection.
- Repair or replacement of storm-damaged skirting sections.
- Installed as part of a move or setup, or as a standalone job.
Common questions
- Is skirting required in Florida?
- Most counties require skirting (with ventilation) before they close out the home's permit. We handle the affidavit so your final inspection isn't held up.
- How long does installation take?
- A typical single- or double-wide is done in a day. Bundled with a setup, it's scheduled right after blocking and leveling.
- Why does skirting matter so much?
- It keeps animals and moisture out from under the home, protects the pipes and ducts, and most counties want it before they close out the permit. Torn or missing skirting is also one of the first things a buyer or an insurer notices.
- Can you replace just the damaged sections?
- Yes. If panels match, we replace sections; if your skirting is too old to match, we'll quote a full wrap and give you both options in your written quote.
